I live in Eagan with my husband, son, and our two dogs. As a parent to a fifth grader who has flourished in District 196, I’ve witnessed firsthand the transformative impact of our schools. His teachers and the staff have been pillars of support, guiding him through challenges in reading and fostering his social growth.

In my day job, I dedicate myself to advancing anti-hunger initiatives statewide. Unfortunately, food insecurity and economic hardship are at an all-time high and our communities are no exception. I am proud to have served on the District 196 Foundation board, which is helping to eliminate barriers to learning including access to food, books and band equipment.

My educational journey includes earning a business degree from the University of St. Thomas and a Master of Public Policy from the Humphrey Institute. I am also a proud alumni of Voices for Racial Justice, which has deepened my understanding of how to advance equity and systems change.

In both my professional and personal community involvement, I am driven by a commitment to inclusion and compassion for all. I am running for school board because I want to bring this passion to ensuring every student in our district can thrive and achieve their full potential.
